Depends. If you just want a copy of a letter or something simple, I have had FOIA officers tell me they will do it at the public contact desk. Now if you want a copy of your entire c file, man hells...

Most of our c-files are so large the VA would go bankrupt, but some where on line there is a way to get them. I've seen mine and it is over a foot thick .

If you request an electronic copy of your c-file (ie PDF) will the VA send it to you on disk, or just send a paper copy regardless?
